Healthy soil is the basis of sustainability. If soil isn’t healthy, the solution is not to abandon the soil, but to rebuild the soil.
A Farm is a
Community
We don’t think of ourselves as simply food producers. In fact, we’re willing to bet that most farmers aren’t simply food producers. When we grow fresh, nutrient-dense veggies, we’re cultivating more than just plants. We’re growing skill sets, teaching, learning, experimenting, sharing knowledge, and creating a community that’s passionate about the earth, and earth’s bounty. We’re connecting people, and cultivating friendships through shared meals and shared resources. At Wilson Produce, we believe that food has a remarkable ability to bring people together, and that ability doesn’t begin and end at the dining table.

We believe in a
well-rounded & sustainable
approach to farming.
That means that we’re producing healthy products with the highest standards of excellence, building healthy soil to ensure our ability to grow veggies for generations to come, and supporting healthy people who not only eat our delicious veggies, but work in our fields, in our offices, and in our communities.
Soil Matters.
Get the dirt on our dirt.
Farming isn’t just about growing food today. For us, it’s about improving processes to ensure safe, healthy food for the future. How do we do that? It all starts with soil. Our regenerative organic farming techniques restore balance to the soil and have a positive effect on the environment.
Our Regenerative Agriculture
Healthy soil is alive. We nurture diverse organisms within the soil that help decompose organic matter and increase nutrients for plants.
This diversity of life protects root systems, improves water infiltration, reduces runoff, and even sequesters carbon from the atmosphere.
Cover crops, companion crops, and compost help us build organic matter in the soil, providing food for the organisms that help our plants thrive.
Organic
& Conventional Produce
We’re passionate about regenerative organic agriculture. But not all of our produce, and not all of our growing partners are certified organic. Why? Making the transition to organic farming represents a substantial investment in time and resources, and we are proud to provide leadership and guidance to our growing partners as they work toward the goal of certified organic, regenerative agriculture.
It is, however, a process. Our conventional growing partners are good, hardworking people, and we’re happy to provide a market for their conventional produce as we work together to navigate the path toward organic certification. The transition isn’t always easy, so we’re here to share our experience and make our vision for thriveability beneficial for all of our partners.
